Background
Investing in Climate Action is an event partnership organised by the European Investment Bank, the European Commission, and Project Syndicate, aiming to gather global leaders to promote climate action, green investments, and the circular economy. The event featured many high-level speakers such as Ursula von der Leyen, Michael Bloomberg, Kristalina Georgieva, Valdis Dombrovskis, and Frans Timmermans.
The Approach
In order to maximise engagement and registrations, Savion Ray worked closely with EIB and managed the event run-up communications, highlighting speakers, panels, topics, live screening and post-event recordings. We designed visuals in line with the EU Green Deal visual identity and teaser videos to promote the event on social media.
To ensure the smooth running of the event, we also supported all partners and helped coordinate and manage the digital engagement, which included content creation, influencer engagement, community management, and event analytics.
As part of our Report and Reflect methodology, we did a comprehensive report after the event, showcasing results, social media engagement, and audience analysis.
The Result
All of our and our partners’ efforts paid off and the event attracted 8,160 registrations, 28 thousand website visits, 14.7 million impressions along with worldwide recognition with major engagement from all high-level speakers.
