Background
Eucolait is the European Association of Dairy Trade, which represents the interests of European exporters, importers and wholesalers of dairy products. The association has over 500 member companies and organisations and acts as a platform for discussion and meetings for European and global dairy businesses. Eucolait’s work is focused mainly on agricultural, food, and trade policy issues and dairy market information.
As an experienced association founded in 1959, Eucolait needed a new fresh and modern brand identity and website design that will reflect their values, communicate trust, and increase their visibility.
The Concept
Inspired by the vision and mission of Eucolait, Savion Ray developed a contemporary, simplistic logo that reflects the core activities and values of the client in a unique and distinctive way. The fluid shape of the symbol represents the viscosity and liquidity of dairy, while the yellow colour is associated with most dairy products. The logo also features a swirl, which is symbolic of movement. All these elements unite in a subtle star shape to indicate Eucolait’s strong relationship with the EU.

Social Media Content
Along with a new logo and website, Eucolait also wanted to present the content they already have in a more engaging way and communicate major policy topics to members and the broader audience. We created a lean social media strategy for their various channels and crafted visuals, infographics, and short-form copy to execute the strategy.
Dairy Tree Infographic
As part of the social media strategy, we created an infographic that captures the complexity of all dairy products and displays it in a simple and visually appealing way. Our Dairy Tree gives an overview of all the products and industries Eucolait represents and shows how the entire market is split.
#GoTrade Narrative
Since trade agreements typically face lots of opposition and are surrounded by bad reputation, we decided to promote trade and tell a good story about it. We used the #GoTrade hashtag and created a series of posts on the benefits of trade.
Website Design and Development
We also designed a brand new website for Eucolait that is more interactive, easy to navigate and in line with the latest UI/UX trends. The website features an interactive trade map that shows the import/export data for different countries. Members can choose the country, year, and type of dairy product. The data is then visualised in interactive charts that can be downloaded in different formats.
