BACKGROUND

Vlerick Business School is a top-ranked European university with campuses based in Belgian cities of Ghent, Leuven, and Brussels. They wanted to create a video campaign to attract students from all around the world to Vlerick’s 6 Masters Programmes.

THE APPROACH

To help Vlerick Business School raise awareness about the opportunities for future students and get international candidates to sign up for their Vlerick journey, we came up with an ASMR-inspired video concept.

Our approach was to illustrate the bright and unique details of the university’s campus atmosphere, hooking the audience with the crisp sounds surrounding the best moments in the student’s life.
Enhanced audio-visual effects helped to evoke nostalgic memories while showcasing the benefits of Vlerick’s master’s programs.

We also decided to utilize the longer video production in a series of digital ads. We featured photographs, short video cuts, and GIFs to accompany the Sound of Success campaign along the way and create a more engaging social media presence.

THE RESULT

The Sound of Success audio-visual experience brought more than 2.7 million visits to the university’s website in just one month and ultimately led to a 43% increase in the number of Vlerick’s website users.

Most importantly, the campaign allowed Vlerick to achieve something more than website analytics success. It resulted in increased student application rates, attracting graduates from over 25 countries.
